I believe it's the cost for using the card in battle. Since this card is so costly to use, putting it as your leader card would mean you wouldn't be able to afford any other cards. It's pretty weak, and so its value lies in its ability to give large amounts of growth in fusion and not in battle. If it's not the leader card, you can't afford it, and it will never show up in battle. It doesn't affect the cost of the card you fuse it with, as all base cards retain their cost when empowered. That is what I understand to happen...
does any1 know the effect when fusing? and this may sound nooby but whats the stat that gives 999?
